Internet, global network, world wide web... That's it - the network and the web. The Internet entangles us, pulls us into its networks.

Of course, the Internet is evil if its presence disrupts our way of life, takes us out of real communication, complicates, or even nullifies meetings with friends, family and loved ones. We settle in it. We are losing touch with reality. The network gives us free access to any information that saturates us and corrupts our children.

But at the same time, think about what useful things we get from the global Internet? How does having her next to us make our lives easier?

We transfer and download the necessary information from the Internet, order goods in online stores with home delivery, get an education, hold on-line meetings, find a job, ! All this and much more is possible without leaving home! Just turn on your computer, connect it to the Internet, and get down to business.

So is the Internet evil or good?

Each person has their own answer to this question. And it depends directly on ourselves. It depends on how competently we know how to use this resource.

You can call a car evil if you use it incorrectly. Let’s say you get behind the wheel while intoxicated and create an emergency situation. A medicine can be evil if it is taken inappropriately and thereby causes harm. Still, no one is going to give up cars, much less medicines. We learn to use it. We sign up for driving courses, get a license, and follow the rules of the road. When we are sick, we go to the doctor so that he can prescribe the necessary medicine for us, and we take it strictly according to the prescription.

It is also possible and important to learn how to use the Internet resource correctly!

Determine for what purpose you need Celion and use it for its intended purpose. Set a limit on the time you spend online and systematize your work on it. Try not to spend time on the Internet just because you have nothing to do. Try this method. When you want to just surf the Internet, place an hourglass next to your monitor so you can watch time pass. As with every grain of sand falling down, it becomes less and less. Perhaps this will discourage you from killing precious hours of your life online.

The Internet is a huge, convenient and accessible source of information that can satisfy the needs of the most sophisticated user. How we use it depends on ourselves, as does what it will be for us - evil or good.

Often, a motorist simply does not know what to do with his old used tires, but they can be successfully sold. Your used tires can still serve another car enthusiast for some time.

Is the Internet evil or good?

All new inventions caused both joy and negative reviews.

The Internet is no exception, people are still divided into two groups, those who cannot live without it and those who consider the World Wide Web to be a place of deception, complete fraud, pornography, and so on.

Is the Internet good or evil? Everyone has their own answer to this question, but overall, most people admire the Internet. Of course, it causes some problems in society, but this technology has many more positive aspects.

Why is the Internet evil?

People develop a negative attitude primarily because of. Who hasn’t fallen for them, sent SMS, transferred money, or simply registered on a dishonest site? Everyone has experienced this.

Fraudsters openly operate online because they feel impunity. In practice, most crimes on the Internet are never solved.

Another common cause of dissatisfaction is Internet addiction. Mostly adults are charged with this.

They talk about their childhood and watch in horror as teenagers spend hours on end online.

Some even forget about real life, and TV often shows programs about such people. There is a problem, unfortunately, it is getting worse every day.

They also don’t like the Internet because it is now penetrating into all areas. Society is trying to make life easier, but technology is not perfect.

You have to send passport data, money, and other confidential information via the Internet. There is no other option, and people who do not trust face serious problems.

Plus, the Internet has become a real garbage dump where you can find anything. It’s good that sites with content about suicide, drug preparation and child pornography are now prohibited. However, there are many other problems.

For example, each child can enter a query and will receive several thousand sites with obscene content.

It is possible to partially solve all the problems associated with the Internet, but there will always be people who will not stop speaking out against the global network.

Internet evil or new opportunities?

Every coin has a reverse side, and if it’s the Internet, then you can look at it from the other side. This technology has brought many useful tools into our lives and seriously expanded our capabilities.

Skeptics do not notice the obvious benefits, but there are a lot of them:

The list can be continued endlessly; the Internet has really opened up a bunch of new and very useful opportunities. One of them is remote work.

Without leaving your home you can consistently receive money. This is useful not only for disabled people and mothers on maternity leave; many people feel comfortable doing work at home.

People are often asked how to relate to modern technologies, especially the Internet. The younger a person is, the more, as a rule, his daily life is occupied by a technical tool and invention called the Internet. In fact, every day questions come to me: “What should I do? We need to ban the Internet, we need to take away a child’s – a teenager’s – computer or cell phone so that he doesn’t have it. And whoever has it, you need to somehow wean it off, you need to somehow make sure it doesn’t exist.” And so on.

Accusations against the Internet are pouring in like a cornucopia. And I must say that the accusations are justified. And in fact, through the Internet, the human soul, the human personality, as well as groups of people, communities are moving in a very bad direction, receiving a lot of evil. Yes, that's a fact. And here you can put a small period or semicolon and not argue on this topic.

After all, approximately the same can be said, for example, about a knife or an ax. How many people die from being stabbed to death with knives, how many people are maimed either by being hacked to death by their best friends after drinking, or simply maiming themselves by improper handling of an ax. Or fire. Or a firearm. Or how many people spoil their health and go to another world from poor nutrition! Shouldn't we ban people from eating at the same time? Shouldn't we prohibit them from lighting a fire and using a gas stove or stove? How many fires, how many burns, how much all kinds of evil!..

My dears, this principle is very important. It is so, one might say, theological, philosophical: material objects, matter, the material world itself is neither good nor evil. He is neutral. The fabric of the Internet is neutral. Good and evil come from the souls, the human heart. Well, either from the will of the Lord - good, from the will of evil creatures of demonic nature - evil. From here, from these three sources, good and evil come, but not from the material world.

During my youth, and perhaps even childhood, people really liked to discuss the topic of nuclear weapons. People have invented terrible evil: they released the devil from the depths of hell, everything perishes, everything is terrible... And this is only because nuclear weapons simply exist. It would seem that what could be more terrible and dangerous than a nuclear war. But if you scratch your head and look at the world soberly, then from the late 40s, when nuclear weapons arose, until today they are keeping the world from a terrible catastrophe, from a world war.

Since time immemorial, when people wrapped themselves in skins and did not know how to write, they, however, fought, broke each other’s skulls, killed their neighbors... Attacking near and far has become a custom of human life throughout the entire earth. But starting from the late 40s of the last century, everything began to change: in the depths of the sea there is a nuclear submarine, and if you attack, you will receive the full program. And this public, which sits overseas, and some on this side, is aware of the matter. And this is thanks to our academician Sakharov and other physicists who were able to oppose our nuclear weapons to our “geopolitical opponents” in time. This is a fact, but we forget about it.

Here we see another demonstration of the fact that material objects (in this case the possibility of nuclear retaliation) can serve a very bad cause, but they also serve a good cause - deterrence, prevention of world war. Not a very popular reasoning, but it is quite fair, and there is no escape from it. And when they stamp their feet, tear out their hair, they say: “What a nightmare, terrible, abolish nuclear weapons!” — it won’t be cancelled, fortunately. It exists and, in a sense, preserves the world. Of course, not completely, unfortunately, and not always, and not everywhere.

The Internet is exactly the same topic. Yes, there is a lot of abomination, evil, stupidity, but there is a lot of good, useful, kind and necessary. Unlike nuclear weapons, which are controlled by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Internet is controlled by every person - small, big, a child of ten, an old man or an old woman my age - each in his own way. And everyone can extract either evil or good from it.

Another thing is that evil is always more active. Evil has an aggressive beginning, an aggressive quality. If we look at the gospel history, simply at the history of human civilization, goodness, as a rule, is in the shadows, it does not come out, does not push, does not declare itself - it stays in the shadows. Savior He will not break a bruised reed, and he will not quench smoking flax.(Matthew 12:20) is one of the memorable sayings of the Gospel.

Therefore, when a child is given a computer and the Internet, or a young person begins to use it recklessly, it is quite natural that the first thing he will receive is a huge portion of crap, forgive me for this expression, in his eyes, ears and, of course, in heart. Well, wash yourself, cleanse yourself, learn to pass by it or throw it aside, this product is disgusting, and learn to use it, apply to your life what will benefit you, what will bring good to you and your neighbors. It's not that difficult.

For young children, responsibility lies with the parents. So that parents don’t push their children away from them - here’s a toy for you, go, play and don’t interfere with my life, because I have no time for you, here, you have an expensive gift, here are the buttons, press, look, read. If parents behave this way, it means the parents are to blame, the Internet has nothing to do with it. Of course, parents will not be deprived of parental rights for such behavior, but the principle is obvious - parents do not fulfill their parental duty, they refuse to support their children, they refuse to raise their children. They may feed them physically, but they refused to educate the human soul; they took the demon and offered him to raise their children.

Why do I speak so boldly? Because the demon, of course, sits on the surface. If there was no Internet, it would be more difficult for the demon to get to the child, but he also got there, of course, through the TV and through the gateway, beloved by everyone. Of course, in any case, demonic power reaches children. Children always need to be protected and protected from it. But here the mobility of these creatures increases, and yes, the result will be exactly like this.

However, if the mother and father are worthy of their high titles, their names of mother and father, then they, looking at children as an integral part of their own life, will have a completely different attitude to the matter. And the Internet in question will become in their hands, in the hands of the whole family, very useful and kind. And, among other things, it will become a means of influencing the child from a good side, and not from a harmful one.

No one will teach a small child traffic rules by asking him to cross the street in front of nearby traffic. No one will say: “Come on, run in front of the car, let’s see what happens to you, whether they run you over or not.” But reasonable parents can show their child, for example, photographs or a film depicting road accidents, accidents, including those with victims. The child will be a little scared, but he will understand what can happen.

Also, reasonable parents can show their child the evil that exists on the Internet, which can spill out on him. The child will also be somewhat frightened and impressed, but this will be a normal pedagogical influence. The main thing is that this will be a targeted influence of parents on their children, and not a pacifier, so that the baby does not cry.

So, there are no dummies on the Internet. There is bound to be some content on the Internet, either good or evil. And our minor children need our adult, serious participation. Not elimination, but participation. More active participation in the lives of children, so that they become closer to us, and the evil inclination is further away. A child lives in this world, perceiving everything through his parents, and if the parents are eliminated, then hello, then the process has begun, and as long as the parents do not go into the shadows, the child is guided by them.

Further, from the age of 12–14 years, a turning point occurs, a transition to an independent perception of the world. These young people (by law they are also called children, but in fact they are no longer children, they are already boys and girls) need a different, special approach and our adult participation.

This approach should be based on their maturity, on their ability to be responsible for their actions, for their lives. It is necessary to show respect for their young people, albeit imperfect, albeit not very intelligent, but, undoubtedly, individuals. It is in these educational and even simply human relations between the older generation and the younger that we can and must find the right line that will help them independently resist the evil that exists on the Internet.

Suicide, pornography, drug addiction, social madness, propaganda of terrorism... This lies on the surface. But the negative impact of the Internet on people is not limited to these obvious abominations. Something as basic as wasting time, wasting one's human potential, is much more common...

Take our generation 30 years ago. How much wasted time did people waste sitting in front of the TV? There was no particular malicious intent in ordinary Soviet television, other than the propaganda of communist ideology, but everyone was aware of the evil beginning of television as a drain on free time. There is such a joke. A man hung a notice in the entrance of an apartment building: “I’m turning off the TV. The fee is one ruble.” He walked around apartments and collected rubles, turning off the TV, because people were unable to turn it off themselves.

So, every person should have this kind of self-service. If a boy or girl spends a wild amount of time on social networks, then you need to ask: “Do you need this? What good do you get from this? The answer will be something like this: “I have nothing else, I live in this artificial world.” Note, not in the world of cinema, fairy tales, fantasies, and not even in the world of any games, but simply in the world of empty chatter. And a person has nothing else.

And here we need to think and help these young people. Help so that this help reaches them. Not in the form of lectures, instructions that you are this and that, or: “But when I was your age, I worked two jobs, dug the earth, unloaded cars, and you...” They have small valves on their ears that they will shut you down and not hear you. It will seem to you that you are saying something, but they will not get it.

But we must speak in such a way that it reaches them, in order to find some kind of contact and to help, so that in life these young people have something important for them, for each individual. You are unlikely to find general recipes here. But there is something for everyone. If these are your children, your grandchildren, nephews, or parishioners, whoever they are, you will be able to find something, offer, help, support these youth so that they find something else.

And this “something else” can also be based on the Internet. Using the Internet as a means of communication, information, and sometimes even earning money, why not, if the earnings are decent and beneficial. Here, through earning money, what is the next road? Professional development. If someone likes the computer as such, well, teach the person graphics, video production, and website design. There are a lot of possibilities.

If he starts this work at the age of 13-14, it means that by the age of 18-19 he may already have a profession in his hands. And this is good and correct. There can be a lot of these professional areas. And this is creative work, this is useful work, this is important work. No less important, creative and useful than laying brick or tile, although this is also very important. To each his own.

It is necessary to include the ability to soberly assess what I am doing, how I spend my time, what kind of contact I establish with the outside world, what is at stake, whether I need it or not. And so, honestly standing before the face of the Savior in confession, before the priest, ask yourself: “What am I spending my time on? What exactly do I perceive from the world around me, including through the Internet? What kind of information, what kind of information, what kind of influx comes into my soul - positive or negative, good or evil, helping me or hindering me?

Returning to a knife, an ax or even a pie with cabbage, we must say: both this, and the other, and the third can be for our benefit or harm; both this, and the other, and the third can be for the benefit of the family, the entire society, the state, the nation, or to the detriment. And harm is a very dangerous thing. Harm is evil. When asked what is sin and what is not sin, the simplest answer is: sin is harm. Here is an alcoholic asking you for 20 rubles to cure his hangover. It seems to him that this is beneficial, but you know that this is harmful, and you have the opportunity to prove it. And you won’t give him this hangover precisely because you don’t want to harm him. The same thing applies to the Internet.

Internet - good or evil

Most people have heard of and are very familiar with the Internet. This word is associated with a huge network invisible to the eye, which allows you to communicate, entertain and work through a computer and other modern devices.

Like most things, the Internet has its positive and negative sides. Therefore, in order to determine whether it is good or evil, you need to know about them.

The positive side is fast communication with anywhere on the planet, which allows you to share information and communicate with a person from any country, right from your home. You can work and develop your business on the Internet, you can study, and quickly find any information you need. If you have access to the network, you always have something to do and you won’t get bored. In general, the Internet provides great opportunities and prospects for development for the planet and people. A person can do what he loves, since he has much more opportunities and a much greater speed of obtaining results.

The negative side of using the World Wide Web includes human weaknesses and addictions, which are provoked and abound on the Internet. While some people develop, others may waste their time aimlessly or succumb to the negative influence of their distant environment. Even exciting and gaming processes can consume enormous amounts of time, and as a result, other areas of a person’s life may sag and not develop. As a result, a person may become less social and adjusted to life.

Not long ago the concept of the Internet appeared. And, in my opinion, such a rapid introduction of this information resource into everyday life is not surprising. After all, it is thanks to him that people have the opportunity, without leaving home, without resorting to the use of various types of literature, to find the necessary information on almost any issue. However, nothing can be perfect, so it is logical to say that in addition to its advantages, the network also has its disadvantages. So, what does the Internet bring? Benefit or harm? Good or evil? Let's reason.

What has changed since the advent of the Internet? Firstly, people have the opportunity to communicate, transfer information to each other, while at a long distance, in a matter of seconds. Moreover, using not only text, but also various images, video and audio recordings. That is, nowadays there is no great need to gather a group of scientists in a certain place in a certain state to solve any issue, since a scientific conference can also be held via the Internet via video link.

Secondly, purchasing any product that is not available in your locality is no longer a problem. If previously you had to go to another city or ask a friend from another country to buy this or that product, now there are various types of online stores that, in addition to the things you need, provide the service of delivering them directly to your apartment. The Internet is becoming another source of income, a place to make money. Online professions are emerging.

However, the Internet also has negative sides. In it you can encounter various kinds of violence, as evidenced by photographs, videos of similar content, cruelty, calls for suicide and other negative things that can lead to irreversible consequences. Due to the emergence of the network, a person becomes limited, as the need for knowledge fades into the background. Literally in one “click” you can find information about any object that interests you, but with this activity, brain activity is practically reduced to zero, which is why memory deteriorates over time. Skills and abilities are gradually forgotten, which provokes low productivity. As a result, people may come to the final station of “Degradation”, from where it will be quite difficult or even impossible to get out.

In conclusion, I can affirmatively state that it is impossible to say unequivocally that there is an Internet. On the one hand, this is a thing thanks to which the world and science develop, and on the other hand, because of which humanity is degrading.
